Getting to East Midlands Airport
East Midlands airport is less than a mile from Junctions 23a and 24 of the M1 and is well signposted from leaving the motorway. Not only is it just off the M1 but also less than 20 minutes from the centre of Nottingham on A453 and around an hour from Stoke on the A50.
East Midlands has excellent coach, bus and rail connections with the National Express running a regular service between Leeds and Sheffield and also Heathrow, Gatwick and Coventry airports. There is also the Skylink bus which connects to Nottingham, Derby and Leicester bus stations. If you are travelling by train to one of the nearby stations you can purchase an ‘add-on’ ticket for the airport bus which runs from Derby, Long Eaton or Nottingham.
East Midlands has excellent short and long stay parking facilities with most of them being within walking distance to the terminal.
